A native of Staten Island, NY, Adam earned his BA in Sociology from SUNY Stony Brook, and his MSW from Washington University in St. Louis. Eight years later, Adam has worked mostly in the field of organized labor with experiences as a DEI educator and a college & career coach. His hobbies include traveling, writing, and attending concerts. Adam currently works in the New Organizing dept. at 1199SEIU Massachusetts alongside healthcare workers, as they form their unions and prepare to bargain first contracts. Adam is working towards a MS in labor studies at UMass Amherst and hopes to continue to advocate for policies that support workers’ rights, educate others and help grow a more dynamic and equitable labor movement.
