Andrea Ó Súilleabháin is Executive Director at Partnership for the Public Good, which she joined as Deputy Director in May 2017. PPG has grown under her leadership, doubling its staff and annual budget since she became director in 2019, and reaching a record 385 partner organizations from across the Buffalo Niagara region. Andrea leads PPG’s annual Community Agenda process, which invites partners to propose, develop, and vote for the top ten ways to make Buffalo Niagara more just, sustainable, and culturally vibrant in the coming year. Andrea trains partners in policy advocacy, working with the media, working with elected officials, and other civic skills. 


In 2021, Andrea was a Visiting Activist Scholar at Cornell University, teaching on public participation in policymaking. She is regularly interviewed in Buffalo media on public issues and was named to the City & State Western New York Power 100 list in 2021. Previously, Andrea was a Research Fellow at the International Peace Institute in New York, where her research on peacebuilding and peace negotiations helped change UN policy and US law, and was cited by Foreign Policy, The Guardian, and PBS. She holds a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law and a BA in Political Science and Peace Studies from the University of Notre Dame.
